Details SX 55 SE YEALMPTON YEALM BRIDGE 4/239 Yealm Bridge II Road bridge over River Yealm. Circa early C19. Ashlar. Single span with wide segmental arch. Small flood arch at west end. Parapet with plain coping. Pilasters piers at the ends of the abutments. The bridge was recorded in 1809 as being "very old" and having three arches and therefore this present bridge must be post 1809. Reference. C. Henderson an E. Jervoise - Old Devon Bridges, page 22.
