Details BRIDGE STREET 1. 5249 (South Side) Workman Bridge (Over River Avon) SP 0343 NE 1/211 SP 0343 NW 3/211 II 2. 1856. Built by Henry Workman, a public figure and former mayor, to replace the medieval bridge. Coursed rubble; 3 segmental arches with stone voussoirs, modillion cornice and open balustraded parapets.
