Details SY 49 NE NETHERBURY WOOTH 4-12-1951 7/178 Wooth Manor GV II* Detached House, former Manor House. Early C17, with mid C18 south end, owing to fire and rebuild. Coursed rubble stone walls, and red brick walls (C18). Retrains of continuous label at right hand ground. Separate labels over first floor windows. Slate roof and stone gable-copings. Brick stacks, at left hand gable, left of centre, right hand gable. C17 windows: iron casements with lead lights. 2 tension bars. C18 windows (south) are wide 2-light casements. Door, left of centre, just in brick part, panelled reveals and 4-centred head. Panelled door with fanlight over. Present front door moved to south gable-end position. Rear staircase tower, early C17, with ovolo stone mullions, and seperate labels over. North end of house has C19 attached 'Gothick' brick tower. 2 storeys with pilaster buttressing and 2 small pointed lights to each storey. Parapet with raised corners, and centre, coped. Cl9 service range, gabled in at rear of house. Brick walls and stone copings. 3-light iron casements with lead lights. Interior: stone fireplace with moulded jambs and 3-centred head.
