Details WIVELSCOMBE 1. 5155 Wivelscombe Manor SX 35 BE 3/22 17.1.52 II GV 2. C17 altered and very heavily remodelled in modern times. 'L'plan. Two and a half storeys, slate hung and slate roofed, half-hipped to east. 3 + 2 windows, modern 5 light casements and 3 + 2 hipped dormers. Doorway to east (in garden) has chamfered segmental head and stopped surround in granite. 2 gabled extensions to west, the southern one has circa 1700-looking carved granite heads over ground floor opening. Approached by steps with composition sphinxes and heraldic lions. Listing NGR: SX3967757199 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
