Details UFFORD LOWER STREET TM 35 SW 10/148 Western bridge over - the River Deben GV II One of a pair of identical road bridges. Early C19. English bond brick with ashlar coping. Downriver side: central basket arch with brick voussoirs and retaining walls at either side which curve forward. Ashlar coping to the top of the parapet, flush with the walling and having fluted tool marks to the edges. Some minor areas of patching to the road side of the parapet. Upriver side: similar. A pair with Eastern bridge over the River Deben (q.v). Listing NGR: TM3003651906 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
