Details WESTCOTE CHURCH WESTCOTE SP 22 SW 2/258 Westcote Manor and adjoining store GV II Large house. C17 with wing dated 1722 on a lead rainwater head on the garden front and C20 extensions. C17 range; limestone rubble with dressed stone quoins. C18 range; ashlar. C20 extension random squared and dressed limestone. Stone slate roofing to the C17 and C20 ranges. Artificial stone slate and ashlar stacks to the C18 range. 'L'-shaped plan to the C18 range with C20 entrance extension at the rear and the remains of the C17 range (partially burnt down early C18) at the left gable end (viewed from the garden front). C20 extension to the right gable end. Flat-roofed C20 extension to the rear of the C17 range, not of special interest. C17 range; 1½ storeys. Garden front; one 3-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement, gablet with a 2-light stone-mullioned casement with early leaded panes and a stopped hood upper right. Flat-chamfered Tudor-arched doorway with imposts and keystone (now blocked) with a C20 two-light stone-mullioned casement inserted in the blocking. C18 range; 2 storeys and attic. Flat-chamfered plinth with rusticated quoins. Five- windowed facade lit by 12-pane sashes with narrow glazing bars and moulded architraves and moulded sills. Band beween floors, deep moulded eaves cornice. Central fielded 6-panel door with the upper two panels glazed, within a moulded architrave with a coved hood supported on moulded stone brackets. Cotswold style extension to the right mirroring the C17 range but with a 3-light stone- mullioned casement in the place of the blocked doorway. Entrance front; flat-roofed C20 two-storey with C20 single and 2-light casements and a balustraded parapet. One 2-light stone-mullioned casement cut from a single stone block with two small lan
