Details WELTON COWGATE SE 9527 (north side) 9/70 No 27 (Welton Manor) 7.2.68 - II House. c1830, with later extension in similar style to right. White brick with stone dressings: later extension in red brick, slate roofs. Main range of 2 storeys, 3 bays with symmetrical facade. Plinth. C19 glazed and panelled door under fanlight with radial glazing in panelled reveals and soffit below Greek Doric porch with entablature and blocking course. To right is a sash with glazing bars and sill under slightly cambered gauged brick arch. Similar blocked window to left. First-floor band: 3 sashes with glazing bars and sills under cambered gauged brick arches, central one set in full-height recess. Painted brackets to timber eaves cornice. Wide eaves, hipped roof, axial stacks. Extension to right has sash with glazing bars and sill under a timber lintel to ground floor: similar, slightly smaller sash to first floor.
