Category C Date Added 15/02/1982 Supplementary Information Updated 31/01/2022 Local Authority Aberdeenshire Planning Authority Aberdeenshire Parish Fyvie NGR NJ 77598 40780 Coordinates 377598, 840780 — Mid 19th century. Small rubble-built structure with double lean-to roof 10' x 2' 6" all iron overshot a wheel in S. compartment, reduction gear and pulley wheels in N. conveying rope drive approx. 450' uphill to steading by means of pulley poles (now removed). Disused but equipment complete. — Industrial interest only. At Tifty Farm 2 cottages of c. 1800 of some interest and at the farm and the Bungalow of Tifty a large collection of old agricultural and blacksmithing equipment of considerable note The Mill of Tifty associated with the story of Agnes Smith is a complete ruin.
