Details SP60NW 6/227 WATERSTOCK Waterstock Mill Bridge GV II Bridge. C18, possibly partly earlier. Limestone rubble and brick with some ashlar dressings. The rubble parapets, with stone and rounded-brick copings, are interrupted on the east side by Waterstock Mill (q.v.) which is integral with the bridge. North of the mill are 2 segmental brick arches with a concentric projecting course linked to the stone keyblocks; the channel passing under the mill emerges in a flat-arched opening with central, probably inserted, division; south of the mill are 2 plainer brick arches, the parapets being continued to the east as walls bounding the channel. At the north end of the bridge the parapets curve outwards to square ashlar piers. Listing NGR: SP6331305540 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
