Rectangular church with symmetrical 6-bay south front; cherry-pointed random rubble with tooled sandstone dressings; harled west gable. Square-headed entrances in outer front bays, with tall round-headed windows above. 4 tall round-headed windows in centre, 2 further (1892) at rear, and 2 smaller gallery windows in east and west gables; all fenestration keystoned with blocked imposts. Diminutive off-centre similar ground floor windows in east and west gable (1892 or later). Elementary geometric glazing, except in gallery windows where original intersecting glazing survives. Rectangular 6-columned bellcote (for two bells) at west gable apex (single bell survives) and ball finial at east. Slate roof. Interior; re-cast, all fittings 1892. SW entrance to lobby, under west gallery. Panelled front to gallery. Large round-headed panelled backdrop to raised minister's desk at east, reached by steps either side. SE entrance opens to further lobby, leading to 1st floor minister's room. — Ecclesiastical building in use as such. Parishes of Wardlaw and Farnua (see Kirkton) united to form Kirkhill Parish. War Memorial stands to east of church. Apparently adapted from plan of Dyke Church.
