Details NOTTINGHAM SK5639NE CASTLE ROAD 646-1/19/127 (West side (off)) War Memorial sundial, 80m north-east of the Castle Museum GV II War memorial sundial. c1920. Erected by the 17th Bn. Sherwood Foresters. Portland stone. Gothic Revival style. Traceried octagonal column on a stepped octagonal base, approx 1m high. Brass dial and bronze inscribed plaques. Commemorates those killed in both World Wars. Listing NGR: SK5699639541 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register.
