Category C Date Added 22/12/1994 Local Authority Scottish Borders Planning Authority Scottish Borders Burgh Duns NGR NT 78666 53649 Coordinates 378666, 653649 — Circa 1920. Obelisk supported on segmental-pedimented pedestal and stepped base. Granite plaques set into each face of pedestal with inscription to front and names to sides and rear; town crest carved above plaque to front; laurel wreath, crossed standards and inscription FOR KING AND COUNTRY carved on front face of obelisk. — The memorial is aligned with the entrance gates to the park. It commemorates men who fell in both World Wars.
