Polished pale grey granite ashlar cenotaph standing on shallow steps within in shallow hemicycle wall executed of similar pale granite with some contrasting darker, bull-faced granite blocks. Plaques recording names of fallen, l914-19 and 1939-45 set in outer ends of hemicycle, the centre portion of chequered granite blocks with voids revealing glimpses of Banff Bay to E. — Plaque records that foundation stone was laid by HRH Princess Royal, 27 May, 1921.
