Details TQ 2887 NORTH ROAD, N6 (east side) 800-/40/10017 War Memorial at Highgate School GV II War memorial. Erected 1921, though the design is the 'Cross of Sacrifice' devised in 1919 by Sir Reginald Blomfield. Portland stone cross on octagonal stepped plinth overlaid with bronze sword. The memorial commemorates those of the school who gave their lives in the First World War. Listing NGR: TQ2832887472 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 16 February 2017.
