Details PARISH OF BRETBY THE GREEN SK 22 SE 2/7 War Memorial and Pump GV II War memorial and pump. C18 and c1918. Timber with shingled roof with cross finial. Open octagonal shelter with plain square posts and segmental arches. Beneath the eaves the inscription 1914 In Memory of ....., with the names of those from Bretby who died in the First World War. Within the shelter is the village pump in an C18 panelled wooden box with pyramidal top. Stone water trough in front. Listing NGR: SK2951023212 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register.
