Standard design by Sir Reginald Blomfield. Portland stone with bronze sword. Tapered octagonal cross with octagonal pedestal and base, on a rock-faced plinth. The memorial stands on a triangular plot with a rounded corner, retained by a rock-faced kerb with flat coping.
