Details FEATHERSTONE MAIDENWAY NY 66 SE (East side) 15/101 Wallace War Memorial approximately 100 metres south of Maidenway House II World War 1 memorial to James Hope Wallace, killed in action 1917. Sandstone. Tall octagonal-plan cross with moulded base, shaft ring and statuette of the Crucified Christ under a gabled hood. Cross stands on an octagonal-plan pedestal inscribed: PRAISE GOD FOR JAMES HOPE WALLACE LEUIT. 4TH.
