Details ARLINGHAM CHURCH ROAD SO 71 SW (west side) 2/15 Vimpany and two Longney Monuments, about 15-22m south-east of three Hodges Monuments in churchyard of Church of St. Mary GV II Pedestal tomb to Elizabeth Vimpany 1786, and 2 chest tombs to Frederick Longney 1849 and Susanna Longney 1801. From north to south: Vimpany - Forest limestone, curved pyramidal cap with plain finial, tall moulded plinth on base, indented corners, thin fluted frieze with central rosettes, and slightly raised panels to all sides, ovals to east and west with low relief over, and headstone shape to north and south. Frederick Longney - limestone, flat top, moulded plinth and capping, indented ends with upturned gadroon moulding to base and carved floral reliefs, oval panel with moulded edge and palm leaf surround to south, flanking carved strips to north. Susanna Longney - limestone, flat top, moulded plinth and capping on large base, indented ends with fluted frieze, shield and ribbon to west, urn, book and drapery to east, and large raised ovals to each side with draped palm leaves.
