Details NZ6319 GUISBOROUGH UPLEATHAM VILLAGE (north side) 6/161 War Memorial, Upleatham GV II (Formerly listed as War Memorial, 3m. S.E. of Church of St. Andrew) War Memorial. c1920. Polished grey granite. Cylindrical shaft, on drum pedestal, on flat natural-stone base. Truncated bell-shaped capital supporting urn finial. Inscriptions on shaft and pedestal record the fallen of the 1914-19 and 1939-45 wars. At the time of listing the War Memorial was in the churchyard of the Church of St Andrew, but has since been moved to the current location. Listing NGR: NZ6312819357 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 7 February 2017.
