C14 hall. house with C16 cross wing to left, refronted in C19 Timber framed with whitewashed rendered infill to gable end of cross wing to left and brick infill, red, blue and brown to remainder under plain tiled roofs to front, Horsham stone slab roof to read of cross wing. T-shaped plan with cross wing to left. 2 storeys & attic in gable with double jetty to cross wing and leaded attic windows 2 large C16 external stacks to left at side of cross wing crow stepped, one with corbelled and ribbed shaft, the other with plain and corbelled shaft. Large square stacks to ridge of rear and centre. Cross wing: projecting 5-light mullioned and transomed first floor window on braces and projecting 5-light ground floor casement on braces. Close-studding to ground floor. Blocked in original opening to ground floor. Hall has 2 3-light diamond-pane mullioned 1st floor casements to right, 2 to ground floor. Heavy oak plank door in roll-moulded surround and thick durns with gabled brick and weatherboarded porch on sandstone plinth. Single storey extension to right end. Right hand return front has tile hung gable end to left with projecting timber framed range set back to right. Two 1st floor casements and C20 doors. Rear of cross wing of stone rubble. Interior has 2 bay open-hall with open bay open to the roof with octagonal crown post with 4 head braces. Curved & chamfered spine beam and chamfered arched braces.
