Trallong (Welsh: Y Trallwng) is a village and community in Powys, Wales, in the historic county of Brecknockshire.

Background
Description
The community of Trallong is made up of the villages of Trallong, the hamlets of Soar, Aberbran and Llanfihangel Nant Bran, Abercamlais House and Penpont Manor House together with its home farm of Abersefin. These two large houses, built by branches of the same family, stand on the south side of the river and both have stone bridges connecting them to the north bank. The village of Trallong is located on the northern bank of the River Usk extending west to Trallong Common where the former Brecon and Neath railway used to cross the river. In the 2001 census the total population was 364, increasing slightly to 369 at the 2011 Census. For elections to Powys County Council, Trallong is part of…
