Details BROMSBERROW - SO 73 SW 5/6 Tibbatts and Rodway monuments in the churchyard, about 5m south- west of south-west corner of porch, Church of St. Mary GV II One chest and one pedestal tombs; former to Josiah Tibbatts, died 1801. Stone. Flat lid, moulded edge, fluted frieze with paterae; quarter rectangular corner balusters, fluted stem, gadrooned below. Ends and south face simply moulded surround to rectangular panel, north face fluted edge moulding to rectangular panel, with guilloche and egg and dart. Moulded plinth. Some Gothic lettering. Later inscriptions to 1837. Same design as Hill and Hartland monuments, (q.v.). Pedestal tomb to George Rodway, died 1790, to east; weathered lid, step, moulded edge; framed sides to sunk panel: moulded top to base.
