Details SJ 5024-5124; 13/21 CLIVE C.P., JUBILEE STREET (east side), The Old Manor House or Clive Manor (Formerly listed as Clive Manor) 28.10.60 II Shown on O.S. map as The Manor House. Late C16 and early C17 with mid- to late C19 and late C20 alterations. Timber-framed with painted brick nogging on roughly dressed grey sandstone and brick plinth; partly rebuilt in painted and rendered brick; plain tile roof with catslide over outshut at rear. T-plan, at right angles to the road; baffle-entry hall range of three framed bays aligned approximately east-west with projecting gabled cross wing of two framed bays to west. Framing: square panels, three and four between sole plate and wall plate. One storey and attic and two storeys, over basement. South front: large roughly central dressed grey sandstone ridge stack with brick top and mid- to late C19 grey sandstone ashlar external lateral stack to left with chamfered plinth, moulded string course to three square shafts with continuous moulded string and moulded cornice, and pitched-roofed link to attic. 1 + 3-window front; late C19 and mid-C20 two- and 3-light leaded wooden casements, French casements, off-centre to left; roughly central pair of C20 glazed doors with mid-C20 timber framed gabled porch with leaded windows and boarded door. Rear: pair of large C17 timber framed gabled full dormers with 3-light leaded wooden casements; central C17 doorway with semi-circular stone step, boarded door and surround with quarter-round moulding and shaped segmental head. Rear of cross wing with mid-C19 three-light cast-iron latticed casements and basement with C17 double-chamfered 2-light mullioned stone window and external steps down to boarded door.
