Details BEBINGTON THE DIAMOND SJ 3384 SE (south end) Port Sunlight 14/86 Terrace wall and ornamental arch 20.12.65 to rose garden G.V. II Wall and arch. c.1937. By J. Lomax Simpson. Stone. Terrace wall to north has 3 rectangular projections. Retaining wall supporting balustrade. Central round-headed recess has lion mask fountain with very shallow semi- circular bowl to front. To north of this a further semi- circular terrace with projecting returns and steps to either side. To south, an ornamental arch with flanking flat pilasters and open pediment; on south side, flanking piers with scrolly caps and returned balustrade.
