The memorial comprises a rough-hewn granite monolith with a smooth panel cut into the front face, carrying the inscriptions. The texts are in applied metal letters, reading IN MEMORY OF/ THE MEN OF TASBURGH/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES/ IN THE GREAT WAR/ 1914 – 1919/ (12 NAMES)/ 1939-1945 (NAME)/ THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE.
