St Peter's Church, Belfast

The chancel and eastern part of the nave were beautifully constructed using Scrabo sandstone at the very end of the 19th century and furnished to a high standard. In the following decades, the church was described as “a slice of a cathedral”, and as having “an appearance and dignity such as is rarely met with in our local ecclesiastical structures.” The west end of the building was added in the early 1930s.
