Tall simple distinctive Normandy gothic. Snecked rubble with polished dressings. 5 bays aisled without clerestory, gable front with flanking transeptal features containing stairs and octagonal spirelet on left with open top stage. Boldly moulded doorpiece and 2 windows over with 2 orders of shafts, sculptured capitals, vesica window above and finial at apex. Transeptal features flush with 2 light plain circle plate tracery, rest of nave has twin lancets. Lower transverse hall at rear with over-arched twin lancet. Slated roof on bracketed eaves swept down over aisles, 1 dormer ventilator each bay near ridge. — Bank Street not opened in 1822 according to John Wood's map.
