Background

Architecture

The nave has a double hammerbeam roof in six bays. There is a ring of five bells. The oldest bell was cast in about 1490 in the Bury St Edmunds foundry. The other bells were cast in 1617 by Miles Graye II, in 1729 by Richard Phelps, and in 1816 and 1817 by Thomas Mears II.
