Additions and alterations 1891. James Donald, architect. Simple Gothick rectangular plan with additional vestry to rear. Ashlar-fronted with angle pilasters; rest rubble with ashlar dressings. 3-bay gabled front with pointed arched, hood-moulded door. 3-light windows with intersecting Y-tracery over, flanked by Y-tracery lancets. Simple pinnacles to pilasters. Remains of bellcote at apex. 5 lancets to each side. Slate roof with straight skews. Globe finial apex at rear. Simple and rectangular vestry of snecked rubble with lancets. Interior has galleries to 3 sides supported by cast-iron colonnettes. — Formerly known as "South Church". Hall not included. The building is no longer in ecclesiastical use. Statement of Special Interest updated in 2024.
