Simple Gothic church with nave and chancel. Rubble tooled dressings. 5 bay nave with lancets and gabled porch at NW. Single bay chancel with geometrical tracery window in east wall, paired cusped lights in south wall; bellcote with paired bells at west gable apex; slate roof. Single storey gabled vestry at NE with entrance facing presbytery porch. Interior: stone Gothic reredos with polished granite shafts; similar columns support altar; paired cusped niche lit by window in south wall. Demi-ocatagonal stone pulpit in chancel arch angle; simple braced rafter roof Presbytery; asymmetrical 2 storey, 2 bay gabled house; coursed rubble with painted stone margins; mullioned and transomed windows; projecting gabled porch with doorway giving on to vestry; 2-pane glazing; corniced end stacks; slate roof. — In 18th century strong RC element in parish; priest, but no church, in parish by 1793.
