Simple rectangular church orientated NW-SE; Romanesque 4-bay nave, single bay chancel slightly lower at SE gable and 3-stage square tower, slightly diminished in size at upper stage, at NW. All ribbon pointed random rubble with tooled rubble dressings. Round-headed entrance in NE elevation of tower; round-headed window above (lighting Minister's room) and long openings in each face of upper stage with paired round heads and single centre polished ashlar columnar mullion. Steeply pitched slated pyramidal roof with cast-iron apex weathervane. 4 narrow pointed-headed windows light nave, with similar window each side of chancel, which has longer window in SE gable. Gable apex crosses; slate roofs. Interior; entrance lobby in base of tower with stair leading to 1st floor Minister's room; simple rubble interior to church; round-headed arch to chancel with ribbed barrel vaulted, polished timber ceiled roof; stained glass memorial window in SE gable above plaque commemorating fallen of 1914-18 war. Further stained glass windows; 1931 (in entrance lobby) and c.1953 by Gordon Wilson.
