Details The following building shall be added: ST PETER'S STREET TL 1407 NE 4/285 War Memorial at S end of Church Green II GV War memorial. 1902-1, by Charles Alderton, probably to designs of Sir Edgar Wigram. Portland stone. Tall tapered cross set on octagonal ring and then swept outwards in 4 arms to pyramidal caps and stepped cornice set over inscription panels set on chamfered cross-plan plinth. Listing NGR: TL1496307557 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 12 January 2017.
