Details SS 44 SE MORTEHOE 3/200 Spreacombe Manor - 25.2.65 - II House, 1826. Extended in mid and late C19. Colour painted stucco on rubble. Slate roof with deep eaves and brick stacks. Roughly symmetrical double depth plan with central hallway. Mid C19 wing added to left side, extended to rear in late C19. 2 storeys. Long and short quoins. 2 bows to full height with three 2-light casements on each floor, 3 panes each light left and right and similar casement above central Doric porch with pair of fluted columns and pilasters flanking half- glazed panelled door of 2 leaves. Wing to left has 3-window range of 2-light casements. 3 principal rooms and hall have ornate plasterwork cornices, 2 have foliated centrepieces. Internal joinery largely intact. Dog-leg staircase with moulded string and handrail, turned balusters and newels with acorn finials.
