Details This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 31 May 2022 to reformat the text to current standards SO91NE 630-1/4/107 CHARLTON KINGS SANDY LANE (west side (off)) Southfield Manor 14/12/83 II House. c1700-35 with later additions and alterations including C19 ground floor bay windows and C20 garage to right. Rendered brick with renewed tile roof. EXTERIOR: two-and-a-half storeys, three bays, the outer ones with gables. First floor has three-light mullion windows to outer bays, two-light to centre with chamfered stone mullions, some C20 windows. Attics to gables have two-light casements. Ground floor: central porch has four-centred doorway, now with plank door and overlight. Square bays to either side have casement windows and stone mullions. Rear stacks. Mid C19 two storey bay to west. INTERIOR: noted in 1983 List as having original staircase with uncut string, fat turned balusters and moulded handrail; original roof structure.
