Plain rectangular church, orientated north/south. Coursed rubble, harled north gable; tooled dressings. 5 buttressed bays with lancets to flanks; paired lancets south gable, entrance centre, north gable with triple lancets above and apex bellcote. Plain galleried interior; ornamentation to 3 cast-iron columns supporting gallery. 2 large monuments to Sir James MacDonald (d. 1766) by James Byres, 1768, resited from old church.
