Details DAVENHAM C.P. SHIPBROOK ROAD SJ 67 SE 2/40 Shipbrook Bridge - G.V II Road bridge. Early/Mid C19. Red sandstone ashlar. Single span. Central semi-elliptical arch with raised and round-chamfered voussoirs and keystone which rises to meet parapet which is formed of large blocks of stone with a chamfered coping. Walls slightly canted to either side and terminating in square piers with pyramidal caps. Approximately half of the bridge lies in Whatcroft C.P. (q.v.).
