DESCRIPTION: the memorial is located in the churchyard of the Grade I listed Holy Trinity Church. It comprises a limestone wheel-head cross on a simple shaft, surmounting a tapering four-sided plinth with moulded cap, on a single-tiered base. The plinth bears the following inscription in incised lettering: TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND/ IN GRATEFUL AND LOVING REMEMBRANCE OF/ THE MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO FELL IN THE/ GREAT WAR 1914-1918/ THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE// (NAMES)// 1939-1945/ (NAMES)// [Additional plaque on the shaft:] A MEMORIAL PLAQUE/ HAS BEEN PLACED/ IN THE CHURCH/ NOVEMBER 1981.
