Details SANDWELL MB DARTMOUTH PARK SP 09 SW West Bromwich 5/72 War Memorial II War memorial. Circa 1920. Limestone and bronze. Of rectangular plan, tapering above base with moulded offset. Cornice swept upwards above central moulded recess with wreath, swag, and inscription; "IN MEMORY OF THE GLORIOUS DEAD". Below, one of the ashlar blocks is inscribed: "THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE". The memorial is surmounted by a winged female figure in bronze. Listing NGR: SP0112191492 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register.
