Category B Date Added 05/02/1971 Local Authority East Lothian Planning Authority East Lothian Parish Gladsmuir NGR NT 49077 70981 Coordinates 349077, 670981 — Late 18th century. Single span, segmentally arched bridge over River Tyne, aligned E-W. Approximately 55 feet span, squared and snecked rubble with droved ashlar dressings and soffit. Rock-faced voussoirs, piers and keystone, band course above parallel with parapet, angled at crown, splayed widening at abutments which taper to drum piers.
