Details SO 33 SE ABBEY DORE CP - 5/5 Row of five monuments about 12 yards south of the south end of the ambulatory of the Church of St Mary GV II Chest tomb for James Haynes, died 183?, by "W Prosser, Dore". Sandstone ashlar. Hipped capping, deep moulded base, corner balusters, inscription panel in oval margin set within rectangular border having fan motifs to corners. Chest tomb for Benjamin Love Cooke, died 1838. Sandstone ashlar with design similar to that of James Haynes' monument. Chest tomb for William Cooke, died 1831. Sandstone ashlar. Hipped capping, corner pilasters with recessed lancets, plain rectangular side and end panels. Chest tomb for Louisa Dean, died 1837. Sandstone ashlar. Hipped capping, gadrooned corner balusters, oval margins to side panels with fan motifs to corners. Chest tomb for Sarah Cooke, died 1841. Sandstone ashlar. Hipped capping with moulded edges, gadrooned corner balusters, oval margins to inscriptions flanked by fan motifs to corners and two narrow vertical panels each with gadrooned corners.
