Details AVEBURY - SU 07 SE 11/42 Racquets Court, Avebury Manor II Racquets Court, later squash court. Early C18 ashlar facade to C19 rendered brick building. Stone tiled roof. Building of 4 bays. Facade has central doorcase with ashlar architrave and 8-panel fielded door, and broken segmental pediment on console brackets. Central square urn and finial. Either side, 15-pane sash windows also with plain ashlar surrounds, and round headed opening over door, now without glazing. Gable raised at centre and shaped up to wooden octagonal bell turret with turned balusters to arches carrying lead covered domed roof. Interior has stair and balcony at entrance end.
