Details SU 75 SE CROOKHAM VILLAGE WATER LANE 9/70 Poulter's Bridge - - II Late C18. Standard bridge over the Basingstoke Canal; single cambered brick arch spanning the waterway and tow path, with projecting band below the parapet, which ends in square pillars topped by a stone cap. Red brickwork (English bond) for bridge and cutwaters; cast iron discs at end of ties. Oval cast metal plaque with:- Poulters Bridge: built 1792: Central relief of a canal barge with small lettering above (Basingstoke Canal) and below (restored jubilee year 1977): Crookham Village Association.
