Category A Date Added 25/03/1971 Local Authority Highland Planning Authority Highland Parish Lochalsh NGR NG 80279 33303 Coordinates 180279, 833303 — Thomas Telford, 1827/28. Harled, Tooled ashlar margins. T-plan church with 4-bay main elevation to west. 2 round headed centre windows flanked by 4-centred headed doors; gable and rear windows as front; 2-light glazing with Y-astragal and diamond leaded panes, bellcote with stumpy pinnacle to south gable; West Highland slate roof. Interior: simple interior with panelled gallery to 3 sides; original fittings; polygonal panelled pulpit with panelled rear flanked by reeded pilasters. Drystone wall to graveyard; square rubble gatepiers with missing finials. — Ecclesiastical building in use as such. Plans and specifications by James Smith under Telford's direction. "Parliamentary Church" similar to Hallin (Duirinish) and Stenscholl, Staffin (Kilmuir). B Group with Plockton Old Manse.
