Details TL 74 SE PENTLOW 3/194 Paines Manor 7.8.52 II House with circa 1607 right crosswing with later alterations and additions including much C18 work. Undergoing restoration at time of resurvey. Timber framed. Part exposed frame to centre and right crosswing. Plastered elsewhere. Red plain tiled roof. 2 storeys and attics. 1:1:1 range of various C19 and C20 windows. "Tudor" doorway to left crosswing. Right crosswing is jettied to first floor and gable. The gable bressumer is carved and has carved brackets. It is inscribed "H E 1607 G W". Pierced bargeboards to apex. Red brick 4 attached diagonal shaft chimney stack off centre right. RCHM 4.
