L-plan range combining church and presbytery; grey rubble with contrasting tooled red ashlar dressings. Rectangular church orientated NW/SE. Bowed chancel to SE lit by paired lancets; NW gable also lit by paired lancets in ground and gallery, octagonal tower at N with porch in re- entrant angle. 4-bay flanks lit by similar lancets, but with single large Y-tracery window breaking wallhead. Louvred openings in all facets of upper storey of tower, spire with lucarnes and apex cast-iron cross. Interior; simple interior with ribbed ceiling, gallery at West with cusped panelled front. Altar (Reginald Fairlie, 1938) with panelled wooden, canopied reredos. Presbytery; asymmetrical 3-storey house; wide projecting gabled wing to S with 2-storey porch in re-entrant angle with pointed-headed entrance, Bipartites in ground and 1st floor of gable, with shoulder lintels, each lintel capped by diminutive paired lattice-pane lights. Varied fenestration, with either pointed headed or shoulder lintel detailing; mainly 2-pane glazing. Coped ridge and wallhead stacks; slate roofs. Former school and schoolhouse. Cruciform range standing close to church. Grey rubble; large windows light single school- room; portion of one arm a simple single storey and attic, 2- bay schoolhouse. Multi-pane glazing; decorative bargeboards coped ridge stack; slate roofs. Later timber lean-to extension to rear.
