Details NEW STREET 1. ---------- 1483 War Memorial at south end of New Street TL 0488 1/138 II GV 2. Post 1914. A simple structure consisting of a stone obelisk and squared plinth with bronze ball and cross finial, mounted on stole steps with chain guard on short stone posts. All the listed buildings in New Street form a group. Listing NGR: TL0408988096 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 17 January 2017.
