Category B Date Added 20/07/1971 Local Authority Argyll And Bute Planning Authority Argyll And Bute Burgh Tobermory NGR NM 50579 55243 Coordinates 150579, 755243 — 1801-14 Thomas Telford, engineer. 300 ft. long pier with parapet wall on N.E. side and stair on S.W. side near the end. Constructed of large stones built open-jointed. Iron mooring-posts. — Designed by Telford for the British Fishermens Society. (Adjoining sea-wall supporting Main St. is of similar construction and probably of the same date).
