Oakington is a small rural village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Oakington and Westwick, in the South Cambridgeshire district, in the county of Cambridgeshire, England, dating back to Roman times. It is seven miles (11 km) north-west of Cambridge. In 1961 the parish had a population of 698.
