Details SE 02NW HEBDEN ROYD C.P. (off) Burnley Road (north side) SE 012260 Mytholmroyd 2/72 War Memorial at SE 012260 50 m to east of the Dusty - Miller Public House G.V. II War Memorial, c.1922. Carved white marble statue of a soldier in battle-dress resting his hands on the barrel of his gun standing on a rock. The base of which has a scroll engraved: "IN COMMEMORATION OF THE GALLANTRY AND SACRIFICE OF THE MEN OF THE MYTHOLMROYD URBAN DISTRICT WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-18" Granite plinth. Stands in a small park in the centre of the village. Listing NGR: SE0127226041 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register.
