Category C Date Added 01/03/1984 Local Authority Fife Planning Authority Fife Parish Monimail NGR NO 29676 14611 Coordinates 329676, 714611 — Alexander Melvile sculptor. Dated 13 February 1818. Single battered square column with pyramidal top and square base, enclosed by low coping with original railings removed. All polished ashlar. Column is inscribed on each face with biblical texts, date and initials "T L" in circular panel on west face below coronet. — The bibnlical text are mostly on the theme of work - the monument is situated immediately above a whinstone quarry.
